Prior to Meta, Dhigha was Vice President, Head of engineering at OfferUp, one of the largest mobile marketplace in the US. Dhigha also has spent 15 years at Microsoft/Skype building large-scale distributed systems and real time collaboration products, and is part of roughly 45 patent applications. He served as Engineering Director leading the Skype Consumer Calling Team building a cloud based communication experience powering 500 million users. He was also part of founding member of the enterprise real time communications business which he helped grow to a multi billion dollar revenue stream (now MS teams). Dhigha holds a B.S in Information Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and a Masters in Computer Science from Iowa State University. He enjoys watching/following test cricket, traveling the world with his family, loves long distance endurance sports, hiking in the pacific northwest – also as a hobbyist he leads a non-profit theatre/media group in the Seattle area producing theatre and movies(short and long format).
