Manager partnership with local and national level organizations to implement “Collective Impact on Future of Work in Bangladesh” and “Switch to Circular Economy Value Chains” projects;b. Serve as the point of contact (POC) for project clients and lead all project presentations and interactions with them in Bangladesh; c. Conduct insightful research and analysis on themes including textile wastemanagement, plastics-free economy, alternative materials associated with the textiles sector,climate change, de-carbonization strategies and pathways, low carbon solutions, financingmechanisms, green and circular job creation, etc.

The Thrive project under the dignified work program is funded by USAID and PVH envisions to economically empowering women by creating decent work and ensuring a life of dignity. It specifically aims to enhance skills, leadership, and collective action of female workers in RMG and informal sector for greater security of life and livelihoods, increase resilience of women workers and their communities to adapt and recover from COVID-19 related impact on life and essential services and increase responsiveness of institutions to address impact of COVID-19 and gender equality in the world of work. Thrive activity intended to reach total 908,750 women and partly man directly and indirectly across the 5-years performance in Dhaka, Gazipur, Ashulia, Savar, Narayangonj and Chittagong for creating decent working opportunities.a. Lead and implement Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement (PACE) program within 75 RMG factories and 30 communities to enhance 78000 women workers’ skills and competencies to take next-level leadership;b. Maintain regular coordination with factory management, PVH, BGMEA, Bangladesh Institute of Labour Studies and partner NGOs;c. Facilitate community mobilization plan for empowering formal and informal workers to develop self-help groups to transform into a cooperative.

Mainstream gender perspectives into BRAC’s design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of programmes, departments and enterprises, with a view to promote equality between women and men and combat discrimination.a.
