Responsible for Gas Turbine Design collaboration with US and Europe division. Inlet and Exhaust system design synchronization between US and Europe.Other Responsiblities:1. Create & maintain Configuration Features, Logical Structures for various Gas Turbine Models to auto generate BOM in Enovia PLM.2. Generate Preliminary BOM for New Orders based on the Configuration Options chosen by the Customer. Create E-BOM and M-BOM based on Engineering and Vendor team reconciliation.Obsolete and supersede outdated parts by adding Alternates in PLM and related ERP systems. 3. Ensure Design changes are consistent with Project Requirements, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Approved Cost-Out design changes.4. Prepare & publish Weekly Dashboards highlighting KPIs like Productivity, Cycle Time and First Time Yield (FTY) etc.5. Review Supplier Deviation requests and update Design Documents through Engineering Change Management system.6. Conduct Inspections at Suppliers Production facilities to ensure compliance with Specifications, Ordering drawing package and related requirements.7. Implemented Direct cost savings of $1.7 MN via multiple design changes and alternate parts suggestions.
