I initiated tenure with the responsibility of handling Talent acquisition for single Unit, having annual turnover of INR 700 Cr and 900 people, with subsequent additional responsibility of handling Industrial Relations, followed by entire gamut of HR functions for the same. Owing to demonstrated excellence & prowess over the years, I have now been elevated to a larger role that involves handling end-to-end larger responsibility of the HR function for another Unit, having an annual turnover of INR 1500 Cr and 1400 employees.A major highlight here has been significant improvement in Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Retention scores. This has been a cumulative outcome of focused strategies involving periodic engagement with the employees at all times. I have also designed & developed a strategy that has focused on involving the employees’ families to garner their trust and also associate with them better. This has enabled us to retain talent and significantly address the critical issue of attrition.
