The company is in the business of commercial printing and show-boxes for food products, tissue boxes, perfume boxes, foil boxes, promotional items, etc.; responsible for directing various business departments to ensure the smooth running of the company to achieve all performance related targets. Ensuring that best practice is followed in safety, legality and quality of service. Developing and supporting a cross functional culture of continuous improvement and increasing sales by adding new customers & enhancing sales revenue from existing customers.

The company is in the business of Printing Duplex Board Cartons; responsible for operations of the company. Achieved the target within a period of 6 months.The plant was running at 20% of the installed capacity – increased sales by motivating the sales team and streamlined production to full capacity to ensure that the plant was running with full capacity for one shift; convinced the management to start the second shift so we could achieve optimum output from the plant.

Started a new trading company selling Milk Products. With my past experience in supplying packaging material to company’s engaged in Manufacturing Food Products, we were successful in supplying Milk products to the major companies in the UAE. We also added Organic Soil Substance Products to our portfolio to support the Global Green Initiative.

Was responsible for increasing sales by maximizing business with support of my sales team; ensured that the plant was running at full capacity by increasing the company’s sales presence in the MENA region within a short span. Achieved profitability in the first year of the company’s inception which prompted the promoters to increase the capacity of the plant by adding a new printing & lamination machine and also a slitting machine.

Started a new company engaged in the business of water treatment and reverse osmosis plants with a team of dedicated chemical engineers. The company achieved profitability in the first year itself and we expanded sales to the Sultanate of Oman. Along with the above responsibilities also started a Trading Division wherein we were the Agents for Acigraf and Reprochem of Italy who are manufacturers of Cylinder Plating Equipment and Chemicals, and also for Siddhomal Paper Conversion Co. (P) Ltd India who are manufacturers of Poly Coated Paper, Antifungal Paper and Hot Melt Adhesive. We were supplying these products to convertors and cylinder manufacturers in the region.

Joined as Area Sales Manager. Was responsible for increasing sales by maximizing business from existing customers and increasing customer base by adding new customers as the plant was running at 50% of the installed capacity. Consistently excelled in achieving targets and was promoted as Sales and Marketing Manager with the additional responsibility of the Pre-Press Department.With able guidance and assistance/support of my sales team, ensured that the plant was running at full capacity by increasing the company’s sales presence in the MENA region within a short span of 18 months. As a result, the flexible packaging division started achieving profitability for the first time since inception which prompted the owners to increase the overall capacity of the plant by adding a new printing & lamination machine and 2 slitting machines.

Responsible for the increase in sales by maximizing business from existing customers and increasing customer base by adding new customers. Signed a contract for the supply of 600 tons of triple laminate with Oman Foodstuff Factory (Muscat) and consolidated business with other customers. As a result of my efforts, the company purchased a new Laminator, thereby increasing the capacity of the plant.
