Directing efforts towards sourcing new customers by way of identifying customer needs to give appropriate solutions in regards to rates, transit time and service details. Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.  Handling Key account of the organisation. Project cargo handling. Co-ordination with line, take care pricing activities and freight negotiation. Undertaking NVOCC marketing /overseas marketing for Imports & Export product and Weekly / Monthly report on competitor’s activities to Principal. Handling the CONCOR activity of the organisation, in terms of rail cargo movement. Interacting with feeder vessel operators on availability of slots and booking and meeting existing customers. Feeder vessel marketing for Coastal and Foreign movement, pricing & fright negotiation. Meeting with concern authority of corporate for Business development/rate negotiation and finalise the deal. Observe and follow all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes. Finance control activity in terms of credit control & outstanding monitoring of clients. Vendor Development. Making sales calls, Meeting with major shipper/trader/manufacturer regularly and preparing the report for the same. Compiling information for generating Monthly repositioning report at end of month. Receiving “Dangerous cargo” application from Customer and sending to Principal for approval; preparing and sending vessel projection report to the vessel operators. Experience of Feeder vsl marketing. Coastal shipping.
