•Responsible for ITT Preparation, Floating of tender, Evaluation and Award of Contract in Maintenance, Manufacturing & Technical Departments.Dispute Resolution/Negotiation Process- Preparation of claims and comprehensive record keeping and formulation of supportive points to ensure payment Attends Tender Opening Committee meetings, collects priced bids on behalf of assigned divisions/departments Undertakes commercial evaluation of and ensures strict confidentiality. Recommends commercially acceptable bidders and process for authorization. Attend Tender Board meetings as required. Ensures that recommendations are routed to the appropriate Tender authority for approval.Participates in the Contractor’s Pre-qualification Evaluation Committee involved in assessing the capabilities of consultants/contractors/vendors to undertake particular scope of work for assigned divisions/departmentsMonitors expenditure of each contract against its value and provides advice and support to amend contracts conditions and/or values accordingly. Reviews variation orders and contractors’ claims. Examines their contractual admissibility, participates with staff of the proponent department in formulating the Company position and recommendation of appropriate course of action. Participates in related settlement negotiations and revises variation orders accordingly.Prepares or supervises the preparation of all correspondence / submissions related to assigned contracts. Includes bidders’ lists, request to tender, tender invitation, award recommendation to Senior Management and/or Tenders Boards and all faxes to Shareholders pertaining to contractual activities of the assigned divisions / departments.
