CurrentIn response to industry change in the DIB space, I was brought on board to assess the technical and organizational challenges facing the company. The main drivers are 1) cost reduction, 2) improve efficiency, 3) reduce duplication, 4) ensure the workforce has necessary skill set, and 5) specify and acquire appropriate business systems. I collaborated with the CEO to redefine business goals. Our work in this capacity gave rise to various related observations. Ultimately, we determined that the company would need improve the design and grouping of jobs to align with the new strategic goals. A structural change was needed if the company intended to improve. We defined a new workforce in alignment with the strategic goals of the company. Together we created new management structures, defined responsibilities, and aligned the staff to the new arrangements.
