Daryl Hobbs Email and Phone Number

Daryl Hobbs was classically trained on piano in Los Angeles, CA at West Los Angeles College at age 13. His first solo performance was for Dorothy Height at H20 Lounge in Washington, DC at her Congressional Gold Award Ceremony. He then went on to play in Crenshaw High School's jazz band and marching band where he also learned to play drums, and various percussion instruments. He self-taught himself different genres of music like latin, rock, and gospel to name a few. He furthered his  music knowledge at Prairie View A&M University and started his own band named Live Out Loud Band. He played bass drum for the PVAMU “The Marching Storm” band receiving a scholarship from the program under the instruction of professor Edwards. Being in Houston, Texas he decided to play in various churches allowing him to play for various gospel and secular artists such as Marvin Sapp, Carlton Peterson, Kurt Carr, Shawn Mclemore, Kierra Sheard, Kirk Whalum, Mario, Jhonni Blaze, and Oshun to name a few. He consistently continues to learn, practice, and perform music everyday. Being in a technology era, he picked up audio engineering being a keyboardist/programmer for recording sessions at HCC and the Art Institute. He has been practicing his engineering skills since 2018 learning different DAW’s such as pro tools, logic, ableton, and digital performer. He has been engineering for different houses of worship and venues around Los Angeles, CA.
