As a DevOps Engineer III on the Platform Engineering Team, I am responsible for the backend development and automation of our next generation appliance platform.Specifically, my role is to build the backend Puppet and Ruby code that powers the platforms automated features and deploy those features to our customer appliances utilizing the Puppet agent and Docker toolsets, as well as, all the automated CI tests to accompany them.Additionally, I am responsible for the backend Ruby code in the Rails application that transforms the Web Form data into Puppet-readable configuration data used to deploy the Appliance features.On top of all of this, I have built and am responsible for the maintenance of our CI/CD platform that we run our code through.

Develop process in conjunction with Application Development to migrate critical code from dying Subversion infrastructure to the Git Infrastructure.Engineer and Support critical Linux infrastructure and supporting technologies such as - LDAP, SELinux, IPTables/Firewalld, Network configuration, DNS, and Updates.
