Security management of Immigration Detention Centre consisting of 150 security staff and 7 Supervisors, as well as care custody and control of Detainee population. Management, oversight and training of security staff at several locations, including; Toronto Immigration Holding Centre, Pearson Airport and Niagara Falls satellite office totaling 24,000 hours per month. Overall responsibility for ensuring physical detention, transport and removal from country of Detainees, as per Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Fleet and equipment management.

Business and Operational liaison between ADT and Intercon Security. Adviser to ADT Management on operational security matters nationally. Managed Intercon and ADT Sub-contracted Security network nationally and coordinated service for National contracts.

Managed, supervised and directed a staff of 50 Security Personnel-Mobile and Static Guards. Oversaw operation of ADT contracted alarm response throughout Canada. Completed extensive management training program.

Supervision and direction of 7 Unit Sergeants and 53 Correctional Officers per shift. Ensured operation of correctional programming. Designated authority and Team Leader during crises situations including major disturbances, riots, cell extractions and hostage situations. Conducted staff training for Sergeants and Correctional Officers. Supervision of the care, custody and control of 1200 remanded and sentenced inmates (Adult Male and Female). Successfully implemented the “Incident Management System” of crises response and trained Supervisors and Correctional staff in its operation. Tasked with “identifying operational issues and concerns and implementing changes” through the facility. Supervised and actively participated in crises operations to deal with riots, hostage taking and rebellious and disturbed inmates.

Participated in joint investigations, Ride-A-Long and Reserve Deputy Program with local Law Enforcement. Participated in Bail Enforcement apprehensions in the New Orleans area.
