▪Co-authored a policy research paper tracking government financing of COVID response in India, titled- “Fiscal Transparency in the Time of Crisis – Evaluating Transparency of State Fiscal Responses to COVID-19”. I assessed five out of the ten Indian states studied: Bihar, Odisha, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. We formulated a color-coded transparency index on government financing of the response to COVID-19.▪ Helped CBGA’s Director with a panel discussion that was co-hosted by ADRI, UNICEF Bihar, and the Finance Department of Bihar, India. I had to write a brief note drawing upon my assessment on the transparency and on the fiscal and budgetary response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
