I was born in Pune, India, and experienced frequent moves and school changes growing up due to my parents' jobs. These experiences taught me to be adaptable and open to new cultures and people. In 2014, I completed my schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya Bamrauli, where I served as the school captain, developing a strong sense of responsibility and leadership skills.After completing my schooling, I enrolled in a distance graduation program for B. Sc. from IGNOU due to Delhi's pollution impacting my family's health. Despite the distance learning format, I developed strong people skills by building rapport with new batchmates in every practical session.During my college years, I cultivated my interest in practicals and experiments, especially in the field of biology. My desire to make a meaningful impact on the world led me to start volunteering for clean-up drives at environmentally sensitive sites after college. As the community grew, I took on a leadership role and established "There Is No Earth B™" (TINEB) to engage and build Delhi's climate community through clean-up drives.Over the next few years, our team grew and expanded nationwide. We also started engaging with decision-makers, and in 2020, we co-created the Save EIA campaign using technology to engage over 2 million citizens in policy-making across 10 Indian languages. In 2021, seeking structured experience and mentorship in climate advocacy, I joined Jhatkaa.org and was quickly promoted to Senior Engagement Associate.In 2022, I registered TINEB Environment Foundation as a section 8 non-profit to focus on youth in the climate justice space. My dedication, strong work ethic, and passion for the environment drive me to continue making a difference in the world.
