SAARC Development Fund (SDF)was established by the heads of the eight SAARC Member States in April 2010 with the aim to promote the welfare of the people of the SAARC region, improve their quality of life, and accelerate economic growth, social progress, and poverty alleviation in the region. MCA-Nepal is implementing a Nepal compact between Millennium Challenge Corporation, the US government, and the Government of Nepal. It is constructing a 400kV transmission line around 300 KM, 3 substations (Ratmate, New Damauli, and New Butwal), and maintaining road quality across the strategic road network, preventing further deterioration of Nepal’s road network.• Conducted data quality reviews and developed M&E plans for projects.• Established tracking systems for funded projects and developed project charters.• Prepared monthly dashboards and trimester reports, highlighting key performance indicators.• Supported annual budget preparation and assisted the communication department in media tracking, analysis and reporting.

The project implemented by THE Government of Nepal and funded by THE International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) supports migrants/migrant families, rural youth, and rural poor in inclusive enterprise development through an environmentally friendly pro-poor value chain approach with the creation of direct employment for 30,000 youth through vocational training and apprenticeship.• Prepared annual work plans and budgets received approvals from relevant authorities and led the project management.• Developed M&E guidelines and supervised the implementation of the M&E system.• Coordinated with stakeholders and initiated project redesign to align with organizational goals.• Managed program activities and developed the project charter for all components.

The overall objective of the consultancy is to strengthen the mechanism of knowledge harvesting and disseminating in PAF. Identify and systematize the knowledge, innovations, best practices and lessons learned of selected experience in order to scale them up by using the Learning Routes methodology. Assist the scaling up of the CLC model methodology in Nepal. Enable a selected number IFAD partners in Nepal in the use of the Learning Routes methodology.

Funded by IFAD (US $ 30.51 million) and implemented by MoCPA and MOFALD, it works in 11 high hills and mountain districts (Bajhang, Bajura, Dailekh, Kalikot, Jumla, Mugu, Humla, Dolpa, Jajarkot, Rukum & Rolpa ) of the mid- and far-west region. The project focuses on agriculture, livestock, forest, infrastructure (drinking water, sanitation, irrigation, micro-hydro, community buildings, etc), and community development, including rural finance.• Facilitated project activities at the district level.• Developed livelihood and community investment plans.• Liaised with government agencies and advocated for additional funding.
