Because of my exceptional contribution and performance I was promoted to IE officer with a record amount increment. A special team of two was formed and I was one of the team members. We were generally responsible for different core system analysis and Improvement. We found out and solved root causes for different schedule lapses. We Investigated and found the same complains from most of the departments, that is inconsistency in planning. We analyzed the factory level master plan and got shocking findings Like, huge interchanges of styles among sewing lines, allocated quantity changes, changes in sequence of styles for a sewing line and so on. Upon further study we found the root cause to be supply chain issues as well as order processing. We had to work on other factors as we had no authority to interfere on supply chain issues. We worked on others issues like, 1. Increased the Fabric roll head cutting capacity by 200% with same manpower2. Reduced fabric roll handling by 30% in the store3. Improved Responsiveness of CAD pattern and Marker delivery.4. Evaluated capacity of Sample Men5. Reduced The duration of pre production activities by 30%and so on.Then we worked for benchmarking of cutting section and worked on,1. Frequent failure of fusing machines and high temperature around the fusing area2. Reduced cutting time by 30%3. Established benchmark for all workers performance in cutting section4. Established cutting SMV and automatic SMV calculator5. Established efficiency measures in cutting section6. Reduced idle time by 20% in cutting sectionand so on.We also performed some process improvement in sewing section and finishing sections along with,1. Introduction of a new type of folder2. Suggesting some exclusive presser feet3. Eliminating helper actions4. Operator Training and so on.

I joined the company as the very fast Industrial Engineer at the factory level along with five others. After 1 month of introduction period we got the overall view of the garments process flow. After the introduction period we were appointed to different departments. I was appointed for the introduction of quick changeover system in the factory. In stead to different management issues and as it was involving core manufacturing and supply chain systems the quick changeover could be established in limited extent. Besides I capitalized the opportunity and learnt many vitals for the apparel manufacturing. I also got various scopes to take part in many development activities in sewing, store, Sample and cad, finishing, cutting and so on. I also took part in several short term planning and data analysis. I also performed personal training sessions for many of my immediate seniors to work smartly and efficiently.
