I use musculoskeletal modelling and simulation techniques along with optimization methods to improve athlete performance with include both injury prevention and performance parameters improvement. I am also interested in understanding the role of movement variability in athletic performance and ways to improve the movement quality in the presence of such variability.

The labs were designed to teach the students how laws of physics apply in real world. During the experments, students not only learned the theory governing the mechanics of motion, but also learned how to collect and analyze data using popular biomechanics techniques like video analysis and force plate.

Women's volleyball was introduced that academic year in the institute and a professional coach was not available. I volunteered to coach the women's volleyball team. This was a beginner level team. I take pride in saying that I was their coach when they won their first inter-college match.
