Successfully achieved real-time autonomous navigation on diverse platforms, including both simulated environments (Gazebo) and multiple physical racecars. Leveraged a wide array of sensors and cutting-edge algorithms in ROS to enable robust and efficient navigation capabilities.Explored advanced localization techniques, such as DSOL/scan-matcher with LiDAR and depth-stereo camera, to accurately map the environment using Octomap/Voxblox and Hector SLAM in a custom ERL environment.

We also developed an app featuring joystick control using camera feed, robot tracking & monitoring disinfection coverage Our team was adjudged to be the top design, and was awared US $10,000 for the same. The team has been granted an additional amount of US$ 10,000, by Micron, for developing and manufacturing a prototype. During this internship I developed a Mask RCNN model to detect PPE compliance/non-compliance at the factory site in real time. To run the model I annotated and developed a custom database using images off the internet and some collected from the factory site. Then the images were pre-processed images edge detection and segmentation to identify whether the worker had a hard hat.Using real-time CCTV feed the model triggers warning msgs when workers without hardhats are detected
