 Project Management:• Review of Scheme proposed by Design / Process Department• Technical review of vendor proposals for Instrumentation Systems.• Project Progress Monitoring & Expediting of Drawings & Documents.• Coordination with Client, Consultants, Contractors and Other individual associates involved in the project.• Interpretation of Technical Specifications as per Executed Contract agreement.• Reviewing Daily, Weekly & Monthly Planning Schedule, and Assessment of reasons for delay and mitigation plan for the same so as to stick project end date. Engineering & Design:• Provide inputs for preparing P&ID to Process related to Instrumentation & automation.• Selection of Field Instruments as per process requirement.• Read and understand project related drawings and Implement the same the modifications. • Preparation of Documents i.e., Instrument Index, PLC IO List, Datasheet for various Field Instruments, Instrument Cable Schedule, Logic write up, Junction Box drawings.• Review & Submission of Drawings i.e. Cable Route Layout, Instrument Hook up diagram, Logic Diagrams, Functional Schematics.• To study the P&ID and Tender Documents, and scrutinize the scope of work for Instrumentation. Procurement Activities:• Coordination with Purchase department to provide Enquiry specifications for Instruments.• Preparation of Detailed Vendor Scope and release MR.• Technical Evaluation of the bids received from vendors & Technical Clearance.• Follow up of vendors Technical Offer & Confirmation on Technical Quarries.• Vendor Document Review/Approval from Client/Consultant.• Site Technical Support & co-ordination for old as well as continued projects. Proposal & Cost Estimation:• Studying the tender document, prepare scope related documents for primary project.• Prepare proposal for instrumentation related items. Other Key Responsibilities:• Forecasting site completion, input requirement for Instrumentation work completion at Site.
