CurrentI authored and defended a Summa Cum Laude thesis on the performance of 18 quantum and 6 classical ML models (including Quantum Variational Classifiers, Support Vector Machines, and Quantum Support Vector Machines) for identifying depressive sentiment in social media posts, producing novel results in the field. In addition, I investigated and advanced several NLP models, primarily Support Vector Machines, for verbal person-centeredness, achieving approximately a 1.5x improvement in prediction accuracy. I also redesigned an analytical pipeline using RegEx to scan social media posts related to drug use for estimated dates of last relapse, increasing identification accuracy by up to twice the previous rate.
