I own a strategic foresight advisory firm called tenten100 (Qahwa Management Consulting DWC-LLC). I have over 15 years’ consulting experience in the Middle East’s emerging technology, energy and public sector innovation spaces. I combine my management consulting background with strategic foresight methodologies and sociological training in order to study complex futures for organizations and societies. I have worked with government and private clients on establishing strategic foresight as a foundational practice. This has been through the delivery of large-scale programs focusing on talent identification and development, culture building, codifying foresight processes, and designing platforms for insight discovery, capture, mapping and dissemination. I have also researched and explored several high priority topics (geopolitics, health and well-being, advanced sciences and technology, climate change, food security), working to model and prototype future worlds.Currently, I am a PhD Candidate in Sociology at George Mason University, exploring the democratization of digital resource (data and infrastructure) ownership to build community wealth. As a result, my focus in this role is on the broader digital economy, with particular attention to telecommunications, internet, and media.
