As a Site Lead Buyer - Indirect Procurement at Alstom, I manage the supply chain and procurement operations for multiple locations of the global mobility leader in India. I have a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nirma University, one of the top engineering colleges in the country. My core competencies include supplier sourcing, supply chain optimization, and supplier performance management.In my current role, I establish site commodity operations and strategies to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance. I have led procurement activities for green-field projects, overseas procurement of power plant equipment, and estimation and bid budget preparation for government tenders and projects. I have developed and applied skills in supplier negotiation, contract management, logistics management, and project management. I am passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our customers and stakeholders.
