As a predoctoral researcher at IIT Bombay’s Trust Lab, I lead a research project on analyzing Tor Hidden Services and related protocols. My work involves investigating the security, privacy, and performance aspects of these services, building on my deep interest in the workings of the internet and network security. This project offers me the research experience typically gained by first-second year PhD students, providing invaluable preparation as I apply for an MS in Computer Science with a specialization in Systems and Network Security.My research experience has been extensive, with published papers on topics ranging from performance evaluation of Tor Pluggable Transports to in-depth dynamic and static analysis of Android applications. These experiences have honed my ability to dive deep into complex problems, balance multiple projects, and produce impactful results. The predoctoral role I currently hold is a deliberate step to refine my research skills, helping me determine the right path post-MS and ensuring I make the most of my graduate studies.Looking ahead, I aspire to use the skills I am developing to make meaningful contributions to the systems and networks security landscape.
