Hello! My name is Dhruv N. Patel and I am in my 4th year of engineering at the University of Western Ontario.Since I was little, I have been captivated by the world of S.T.E.M. As I grew older, my curiosity led me to explore the various fields of technology such as programming, computer-aided design, and electrical circuits. Being a part of the SciTech program at my high school, I honed my skills and actively participated in a multitude of technological design projects. From contributing to the development of a modular telescope to designing a robot claw, these experiences fueled my enthusiasm and deepened my understanding of core engineering principles.Currently, I am pursuing a Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering Double Degree at the University of Western Ontario. With a focus on interdisciplinary innovation, I am eager to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to advancements in the fields of medical devices, imaging, and surgical robotics as a future engineer. Ultimately, my goal is to leverage my technical expertise and creativity to make a meaningful impact in the medical industry. In addition to my professional aspirations, I believe in continuous personal growth and strive to be an avid lifelong learner. I embrace every opportunity to learn more about other subjects such as finance and philosophy or explore other areas of interest such as my hobbies in playing the violin and calisthenics. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions, ideas, or opportunities for collaboration. I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals and being part of a dynamic network dedicated to engineering excellence and making a positive impact.Check out some of my engineering projects on my portfolio website: https://dhruvnpatel.wixsite.com/website
