I'm Dhruv Patel, a Final Year Undergraduate student pursuing an inter-disciplinary dual degree B.Tech in Engineering Design with a specialization in Tech-MBA at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. I have done a few internships and participated in many competitions which helped me to build some great skills like Qualitative & Quantitative Analytics, Problem-solving, Critical thinking, etc.This combination of engineering and MBA gives me a thorough understanding of both the business and technical perspectives. My internships have given me invaluable expertise in a variety of fields, such as data science and analysis, project management, market research, and strategic problem-solving. At TCS Research and Innovation, I worked on developing models to find communities optimally using MILP. My internship at EY taught me concepts of market study, consulting, and mergers & acquisitions. I worked on a variety of projects, from managing big events to spearheading marketing campaigns in a project management internship at an India fintech forum.My participation in a variety of extracurricular activities has also helped me develop my leadership abilities, problem-solving techniques, and capacity for productive work under pressure. I was also a Core of the Design team at IARSC (International & Alumni Relations Student Council), Head of the SnS team in Saarang '23, and Coordinator of Envisage in Shaastra '23 and CFI. Along with my solid background in data science and quantitative approaches, my proficiency with the MS Office Suite, Python, Tableau, Figma, and Fusion 360 enables me to confidently contribute to complicated projects.
