I am a lawyer practising in Loopstra Nixon LLP's Municipal, Land Use Planning, and Development Law group. I specialize in working with landowners and developers, municipalities, and government agencies to negotiate and implement complex arrangements to build communities across Ontario. I provide legal advice to landowners and developers on a range of land use planning and development issues, with a focus on land development infrastructure financing and cost sharing. In particular, I regularly act as legal counsel and trustee to landowner and developer groups under community cost sharing agreements dealing with the funding, coordination and cost sharing of community land and infrastructure. I also provide advice and service to clients on corporate and real property matters related to land development. I am a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. I am also a member of the Building Industry and Land Development Association and Urban Land Institute.
