I am specialised in the field of Circular Economy, public waste and the public environment. My activities concern developing, implementing and testing new policy, supervising tender processes, market studies and general research. One of my major responsibilities is work package leader of the H2020 project CINDERELA.

In my management internship I studied the level of sustainability present in the projects of city engineers of the Arnhem municipality. After researching several sustainability definitions, frameworks, tools and indicators, I created a benchmark system which can assess the sustainability of public space redesign projects. I used this system to evaluate several large Dutch municipalities, make a comparison with Arnhem and formulate advice.

The mobile planetarium of NOVA travels throughout the Netherlands to teach children and adults about astronomy. In an inflatable dome, an dynamic night sky and several animations are projected, as presented by the Mobile Plantarium Presenter in an interactive planterarium show (~45 min).

In my physics internship, I researched gas phase cationic copper cluster with the free electron lasers of the FELIX Laboratory under supervision of Joost Bakker. By laser ablation of a copper rod in a high vacuum, I created bare cationic copper clusters up to the size of Cu60+ and argon-tagged clusters up til size Cu19Ar+. The argon-tagged clusters were studied with the free electron lasers of the FELIX facility in an action spectroscopy experiment. Combining these results with theoretical Density Functional Theory calculations, I determined the structure of several cationic copper clusters.
