Switching from my "sys admin hat" to my "dba hat" and back again as the need arises is second nature to me now. Unix, Linux, PostgreSQL, closed source proprietary solutions, open-source stacks, on-premise, or cloud-hosted, it matters not to me. Been there, done that, loved it all.
