  Project Scope: SOLAR (Sales Office Link to Agent Reporting) system is an insurance agent and agency management system. It hosts huge amount of data related to agents and agencies and reports on agent sales office information, agent licensing and state appointments, agent contracts, and agent commissions. It includes Humana and EHI agents. SOLAR collects agents’ data from various systems such as CBIS, Humana One, FIMMAS and loads into the mainframe data warehouse further creating files in FTP server. SSIS package loads these files into SQL server for reporting.Responsibilities: • Performed GUI, Unit Testing, Functional, Negative, Positive, Integration, Regression, End to End, User Acceptance Testing and Compatibility Testing • Extensively involved in writing and designing templates for the Test Plans and Test cases • Preparing Build Verification Test (BVT), Check list and other testing documents. • Identified the Test Cases and documented them in Quality Center. • Worked with the Developers and the Test Lead to verify the Test Cases. • Designed and Analysed Test case design document basing on the Functional Requirement Specifications to implement through testing process. • Analysed and Developed Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Expected Test Results and Test Procedure from functional requirement for different modules • Involved in creating the Traceability matrix based on Functional requirement in each module. • Base-line and Regression tests were scheduled and performed on every Release and build. • Regularly followed up with the development team to discuss the defects identified during Testing.
