Hi! I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Penn State University. My core competencies include causal inference, structural modelling and empirical data analysis. My current project focuses on quantifying the impacts of vertical integration in the carbonated soft drinks industry. This project has cultivated my ability to tackle complex challenges by filling in the details to the big-picture questions.I am also working on gaining more understanding and experiences in machine learning. I have obtained multiple certifications in data analysis and machine learning with Python. As a course instructor, I managed an online course for 43 students, and coordinated with two teaching assistants. My students rated me highly for my clarity and communication skills. In addition, my internship at the Bank of Spain on a project about energy economics enhanced my skills to recognize patterns to identify and solve problems. While the industry may differ, this experience underscores my capacity to navigate ambiguity.I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to solve real-world problems. I value collaboration and innovation, and I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
