As the Director of Attorney Development & Recruiting, my primary objective is to find & support the win-win in every situation. This applies to recruiting as much as to supporting the development and success of our attorneys internally. To do this, I listen more than I talk and I act as a bridge for the gaps between understanding and expectations, current and needed skills, goals and productivity, spoken priorities and actions, mindlessness and mindfulness and singular areas of success and whole-life wellness.Specific and day-to-day tasks include:- Assess & support attorney training needs for legal skills, business development, mindfulness and professional development- Develop and conduct trainings, particularly those aimed at developing "soft skills" from a foundation of neuroscience and mindfulness- Support firm's strategic plan through coaching, trainings, development efforts and recruiting- Participate and support frequent feedback and formal annual evaluations- Provide one-on-one coaching for attorneys desiring to up-level their professional, management and leadership skills- Provide one-on-one coaching for attorneys needing better work-life integration, increased levels of engagement & fulfillment and decreased levels of anxiety and stress- Enhance the firm's already stellar mindfulness program with additional trainings and individual support- Monitor and evaluate industry trends for alignment with the firm's culture and objectives- Care deeply for each person in the firm, and invest in their version of success

Workplace Evolved offers programs and coaching built on the foundation of neuroscience. Our programs include leadership programs for small groups of 8-12, one-on-one executive coaching with brain-based webinars to support learning, workplace programs for all employees (workshops and Lunch & Learns), as well as on-site yoga and mindfulness classes. Nomad Yoga brings yoga, stress-reduction, and meditation programs to corporate America, offering on-site classes and workshops. In my corporate life yoga saved me, and my hope is to offer yoga to as many people as possible. I provide weekly classes, or one-time classes-- always designed for the specific goals of each client.
