I transitioned to a Telemetry unit, working for 3 years at St Mary's Hospital, Hobart, Indiana where I worked as a charge nurse taking care of patients on cardiac monitors. To fulfill my goal of becoming a cardiac ICU nurse, I moved to the critical care unit of Methodist Hospital, a magnet hospital in Merrillville, Indiana where I worked for the next 3 years as an ICU charge nurse. I also attained several certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS and CCRN). I moved on to become a travel nurse in the Fall of 2017, leading me to work on contract with several travel nurse agencies at other hospitals in Wisconsin, Virginia, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Purdue University. A compact RN license and a CCRN license issued by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
