Having begun with his own home renovations in the 1970s, Dan Labriola fixed and flipped a number of homes over the years, working with a general contractor through the 1980s and early 90s. In 1996 Dan founded DPL Development to bring his vision of quality construction to life. His youngest son Dominic began tagging along to job sites with Dan at 10 years of age. Each day, Dan would pick Dominic up from school and began to teach him the entire process of construction, from planning and drawing the blueprints, the foundation, framing, and finish carpentry. Dominic soon became enthralled with the process of creating homes. At 19, Dominic became the Project Manager for DPL Development and oversaw the construction of multiple speculation homes. Today, Dominic leads the company in its vision of creating incredible spaces from which people can build their best life.
