• Maintains complete understanding of all modalities of treadmill testing and performs testing via physician orders.• Explains testing accurately and in detail to patients in order to ensure understanding.• Uses critical thinking to evaluate order accuracy and the need to initiate order change requests with the ordering or supervising physician as needed.• Monitors patients for physiologic symptoms during testing and reports to supervising physician as needed.• Maintains supply inventory and crash cart equipment in treadmill rooms.• Checks crash cart and defibrillator for functionality.• As a Medical assistant obtain vitals and EKG’s on all patients during the rooming process and obtain history through NEXTGEN EMR system.• Verify clinic chart prep prior to clinics start time entailing all proper documents are available to physicians for appointments.• Cross trained to perform and instruct staff on ABI testing, holter and event monitor placement and downloads.

• Required to have extensive knowledge in the following procedures: EKG, injections, PPD testing, audiograms, phlebotomy, pulmonary function test, glucose testing, ear lavage, Morgan lenses, IV setup, DOT Physicals, ASBESTOS/ respirator physicals, army physicals, and regular physical exams.• Patient education on GAIT training using crutches, canes and walkers. Extensive Knowledge of injury care education and proper use of medications and DME equipment.• Office preceptor- Required to be up to date on all medication and supply inventory. Accountable for training new hires on all proper procedures for back office performance in the above listed procedures as well as HIPPA and DOT regulations.
