I recently completed my Google IT Support Professional Certificate, where I developed strong technical competencies like operating systems installations, networking, troubleshooting network connectivity, and hardware components. In my roles as a Release of Information Specialist and a Criminal Support Analyst, I’ve gained key skills I believe are transferable to a role in IT Support.Throughout my journey as a Release of Information Specialist at MRO Corporation, I’ve gained numerous valuable transferable skills that I am eager to apply in my desired role as a help desk professional. Firstly, my problem solving skills allow me to assist patients and providers thoroughly, as I would use my skills to resolve any issues that would occur, ensuring that the patient or provider has all information needed. In IT Support, this skill will enable me to solve any technical issues efficiently and effectively. Secondly, my critical thinking will allow me to approach matters differently. My critical thinking was a key skill in my role as a Criminal Support Analyst. I was able to strengthen my ability to interpret, evaluate, and analyze criminal records and make sure they aligned with state or legal guidelines. In an IT Support role, these qualities are vital in helping customers and providing exceptional help desk support.With a strong technical foundation from my Google IT Support training and my transferable skills obtained from previous positions, I am eager to join your team as a help desk professional and contribute to the success of the organization.
