After building Target Data Solutions with a business partner, I made the informed business decision to move forward on my own!!

I was that of European Sales Manager. I oversaw all aspects of recruitment, training and the day to day running of the sales operation. I was also involved in the future planning and direction of the business. Some of my duties were:- Setting targets for sales staff, Setting targets for the business as a whole, Structuring and planning the future growth of the business, Liaising with recruitment and training agencies, Liaising with accountants and business advisers, Structuring and implementing training for members of staff.

I was initially employed as a sales agent. I was extremely successful straight away with selling the product. I experienced customers from all backgrounds and walks of life and found I could easily relate to them. Only 3 months after working for the company I was promoted to a Team Leader. I had already demonstrated my ability to not only deliver but also to motivate others and I improved this with this new opportunity. In November of the same year I was once again promoted to manage a new department within the company, dealing with high spending customers. This was a fantastic opportunity for me to demonstrate the knowledge I had gained about the product and moreover I quickly established techniques in dealing with larger national and international corporations.Due to my previous experience and success at working with teams and motivating people in January of 2009 I was given the opportunity to be the Training Manager for the company. This was very rewarding and it further increased my knowledge of how to approach and work with staff from all walks of life. Due to the rapid growth of the company this role was very demanding but also extremely rewarding to observe people who I spent time working with performing well. This included working with English, Russian, French and Spanish staff and was in some cases carried out through a translator.In January 2010 I was once again promoted to a sales manager. This was the pinnacle position for me within the business and I felt my time, effort and results were being duly rewarded.In this role I built a strong team that who gave a high quality performance, even through an economic good down turn. Some of my duties included:• Setting targets for the team leaders and managers that fall under my supervision within the company.• Handling all disciplinary action with members of staff.• Planning and implementing procedures and training for both managers and members of staff in different teams.

The company delt with domestic debt from catalogues, credit cards, loans etc. My job was to organise a solution to solve the debt for these people and ulitmatley reduce the amount they were suppose to pay out. From this role I got a lot of satisfaction from helping people in these situations:• Working with Experian and Equifax to look into a customers address history and current debt.• Working to achieve targets.• Selling debt management.• Working with large volumes of information and adapting it to work efficiently and effectively.

My role was to book appointments for Mortgage Advisors to go out and sell mortgages to people. I was also running a team of 8 people making sure they hit targets. As I am a very good motivator and know how to get the best out of people,I managed to be very successfull at this job. My reasons for leaving was that unfortunately my director passed away and the the company went into liquidation. Duties included:• Looking after a team of 8.• Working to achieve team targets.• Setting targets for each team member.• Motivating the whole team.

This was my first job were I started as a ball boy and moved to pot collector then to Bar Staff. Furthermore I finished there as the Assistant Steward. This was mainly during Rugby Seasons.
