CurrentSolo HR practitioner and generalist. Serving 130+ employees at one of the leading privately owned commercial real estate development firms. Also serves as a consultant to two additional entities. Serves on the company senior leadership team; developing and executing company goals and strategies related to all human resources functions.Leads human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, and occupational health and safety.Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management. Consistently meets hiring goals, hiring 15+ new employees annually.Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Recommends best practices; and reviews and modifies policies as necessary and practices to maintain compliance. Work with outside counsel as necessary for complex issues.Researches, analyzes, and reviews company policies related to benefits and compensation to remain competitive in the market. Spearheaded expansion of benefits creating parity amongst organizations and developed company-wide communication regarding benefits. This includes expansion of Group Life, Parental Leave, 401k matching, and Long-Term Care benefits across entities.Coordinates and executes company employee appreciation events.
