At present I have taken a new position at Western Piedmont Community College to oversee the Allied Health Programs as well as the Emergency Medical Programs. My goal is to ensure that our programs remain top of the line in education and clinical skills as they are at present .I am a very caring and competent nurse who has had a great deal of experiences in my nursing career. My goal as a nurse is to give the utmost in care to my patients and in my present job to see that the CNA's that I train and test are of excellent and sound ethical beliefs. I feel that it is my responsibility to the community to train these CNA's to be the best that they can possibly be in their careers. I believe that in order for someone to be a good care giver they must be called to do this task. I have found my career to be most rewarding and look forward to many more years as a nurse. Nurse Aide Evaluator For The State Of NcNaces Plus Foundation Oct 2007 - PresentNorth CarolinaMy responsibilities include testing Nurse Aide Candidates for their state exam. I am to protect the integrity of the exam and all testing materials. Make sure that all information is accurate and up to date. Administer a written exam in which we monitor very closely for any cheating or abnormal behaviors during the testing period. Adhere to the standards for the test, time, make sure each candidate has been properly identified and has proper documentation. Fax tests and then pass results when they arrive for the candidates.Administer the Skills portion of the test. Set up the skills room and make sure all equipment is in good working condition and also make sure all equipment for the test is there and available. Ensure that all students again have proper identification and understand the actions taken if cheating were to occur.Administer the test per time constraints and report all irregularities to the company and the state if called for. Make sure that all results are passed out and then ensure that all test materials are accounted for and mailed back to the company in a timely manner.
