C4Media is the provider of InfoQ.com and QCon conferences. https://qconferences.com/QCon is a practitioner-driven conference designed for technical team leads, architects, and project managers who influence software innovation in their teams. QCon conferences run 8 times/year in San Francisco, New York, London, Munich, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Sao Paulo. As a Marketing Manager for QCon I was in charge of the entire Marketing Strategy and Marketing Budget Management for our conferences taking place in London, San Francisco, New York, and Munich. My major responsibilities included building customized marketing plans & budgets for each conference; creating, executing and monitoring of all paid advertising (Google Search & Display Ads, Google Retargeting, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads & Microsoft Ads); Email Management (planning, content writing, list management); all reporting and data analysis, measuring the performance of digital marketing efforts using Google Analytics & Data Studio, tracking against set goals and making recommendations for future activity, and last but not least audience research.Accomplishments-Increased ROAS from Google Search Campaigns from 200% to 800%-Build social media presence from scratch -Introduced campaign creation, analysis and optimization of direct marketing campaigns, including Facebook, Google, Twitter, Reddit, and Bing platforms.-Improved retargeting campaigns which improved conversions with 50% in the last year-Started using Data Studio to build better dashboards & reports-By continually A/B testing I was able to improve the performance and conversions coming from the marketing email blast with 60% in the last year

https://www.infoq.com/InfoQ is a website serving the information needs of development managers, technical team leads, software architects, and project managers, with over 700,000 unique visitors per month.As a Traffic and Ad Operations Manager I was in charge of Ad Campaign Management. My major responsibilities included managing all aspects of online advertising delivery once a sale was made, including setting up of ads, contacting customers to receive and verify ad creatives, active monitoring of campaigns, notification to sales of issues as they come up, and producing all campaign reporting necessary.

As a content operations manager, I was managing the logistics and production work required to post site content on Infoq.com including HTML conversions, transcriptions, mini-book production, video time indexing, interfacing with graphic artists. Another important part of my role was to provide assistance to the InfoQ editors to get content on time from industry authors.

In my role at Nethost SRL, my main responsibility was the translation of the French technical documentation for the software development team. Apart from this, I would also assist with general corporate logistics and would provide marketing support when needed.
