· A five-week online course aimed to educate college students about NASA's exploration missions and achievements throughout time · Coursework consisted of 4/5 hours per week of intensive studying, potential future opportunities, and work side by side with engineers to develop professional skills and enhance research capabilities standards· The final project required a 10-page research paper on Lunar In-Situ Resource Utilization, which determined the qualification to attend a 4-day event at a NASA facility

· Collaborated with a team of 3 peers to design and implement a web application using Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS over the course of 11 weeks, leveraging Google API, including App Engine and Datastore· Learned and followed industry best practices such as: contributing to open source, Git, GitHub, and Java fundamentals· Polished resume, practiced interviewing skills, and networked with Googlers across the company, and learn more about many of our technical career paths

· Created and designed a GUI in Python to report and save information for prescribed compounds and solutions to manage storage usage· Conducted tests on the GUI design to ensure all required data is manageable and available for pre-flight and post-flight inspection· Constructed and built a parser to organize log data that is independent of generating an excel sheet and graph to organize flight test requirements

· Worked under the Engineering team building an iOS app, focused on educational disparities that some low-income students for a student-led startupface towards building their education· Administrated the goals and expectations of the project by managing deliverable project communication with the team· Managed the design of the app, concepts, and requirements to launch the project at an expected dateLaid off due to COVID-19

· Worked with previous CSSI students to lead a web development course provided by Google and managed a cohort of 13 students to develop technical knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript· Initiated and organized office hours per week for students to ask questions about the coursework and fill a feedback form on how to improve the curriculum for next year · Implemented social chats twice a month to ensure students developed a connection with their peers and constructed a friendly environment on Slack

· Directed and coordinated a team of three people and developed Healthy South Kern, an Android app that allows safe communication between South Kern residents, Funding Partners, and the BHC staff· Involved in all the phases of the project including reporting errors, add on feature for Spanish translation, building the login authentication, and reset users' passwords using a database to modify information· Created documentation and images for Healthy South Kern, which included market research, target audience, mission statement, advertising strategy, and a budget that outlined a long-term financial plan

· Participated in a highly selective, intensive, eight-week online boot camp focused on programming and web app development· Attended daily lectures, workshops, and mock technical interviews to learn about programming fundamentals directly from Google engineers· Collaborated with previous CSSI students to conceptualize, design, develop and deploy a personal portfolio website about myself

· Mentored a group of 25 young women through web development lectures, field trips, and women spotlight stories· Set up daily activities, projects, and programming exercises to practice utilizing the required skills to build a final project · Created an informative and educational website to spread the importance of female growth and development with the Girls Who Code club to deliver a presentation to the school about the process of developing a project with no coding experience

· Experienced first-hand research in real university labs, while also attending weekly workshops that provide basic knowledge about web-mobile development and database systems to secure, modify and store data information · Created a prototype web-mobile app called Food Distribution that provides low-income communities with food donation resources· Prepared and delivered a final presentation to showcase a research project and product to a group of 30+ USC college students, and faculty
