Materials Management Epc4A Project - ContractorExxonmobil Development Company 2005 - 2009UsWorked as a Subcontractor on EAP4A Project for Mobil Producing Nigeria for the AFG (Alternate First Gas) Procurement needs. This project was a very fast paced procurement process where I was in charge of expediting the procurement team and managing the Expediting Effort for all materials to be delivered with in the time frame that the schedule required. The AFG Phase was in commission and operational on time. This allowed me to work closely with the project Engineers to coordinate any items that had a need to be substituted due to late delivery and the Site Construction team to insure all items were located and delivered. Which instilled knowledge of engineering and EPC work that I did not have prior. I was issued a Recognition Award from MPN (ExxonMobil) for my performance on creating and maintaining a Materials Management Tool that was used through out the Project which closely Monitor all materials needed. I was requested to remain on the Project to assist in Procurement and Materials Management for the remainder of the Proj. I worked closely with the Schedulers and advised weekly the Procurement Schedule for all the remaining Purchase Orders. I was also responsible with working with and coordinating a Reconciliation Team of engineers – we were charged with reconciling all the materials on Master BOM’s to what had been purchased. This was accomplished by creating a Master MTO on a per Platform basis which was then used to identify and confirm that all the materials were purchased. With the tools created from the transportation and materials tracking report we were able to help the Site with the location of materials for fabrication and installation when the resources at site were not available ( in Nigeria it meant all throughout the project). -
