Robert Walters is one of the world's leading specialist professional recruitment consultancies with, 48 offices spanning 23 countries and is a party to a Labour Hire Agreement with the Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) since the year of 2009. Prior to acquiring their Labour Hire Agreement Robert Walters outsourced their immigration matters to Fragomen until I was appointed to bring it in-house. • Created an in-house immigration desk with new systems and procedures to deliver streamlined immigration assistance for various types of top tier businesses and employees including contractors• Identified new business opportunities by providing outsourced 457 visa sponsorships to a number of small to medium size businesses ineligible to sponsor overseas workers. This created a highly profitable business model with nil expenditure or investment in marketing and support• Initiated the introduction of outsourced ENS through a Labour Hire Agency that served to be an attractive and niche product for various businesses and contractors. Robert Walters was one of the first recruitment agencies in Australia to sponsor overseas contractors through the ENS visa program• Managed the stringent required compliance reports under the Labour Agreement with the Immigration Department • Processed lodgements of a high volume of visa applications – mainly 457s and ENS - for contractors, clients and internal Robert Walters' employees• Supervised a small team including a junior migration agent, PA and a team administrator• Administered internal relationships and work flow with the Payroll Department, Accounts, HR and a number of recruitment teams• Successfully managed the sales processes: building client relationships, led negotiations, closed deals, managed account issues and contracts• Reported to the Asia Pacific CFO
