• I managed pharmacist recruitment in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Texas and Minnesota at a time when there was a critical shortage of available pharmacists. To that end, I built relationships with academic leaders.
• Recruited approximately 2,000 pharmacists and pharmacy interns over 7 years.
• Built new strategic alliances with 4 previously untapped colleges of pharmacy.
• Created a new candidate identification and placement program based on geographical preferences to improve hiring for locations where the need was greatest and ensure relocation follow-through of new hires.
• Identified other barriers to recruitment, such as lack of CVS presence in the market, and developed strategies to overcome those hurdles.
