As the Social Media Specialist, I'm responsible for crafting our yearly social media strategy in alignment with overall marketing/company goals. I've put content planning processes and templates into place that have allowed our small team to plan ahead be proactive. I lead the content creation process, communicate with stakeholders and subject-matter experts, provide creative direction, and prepare copy to nurture and grow our online community. In addition to getting my weekly pulse on key social metrics, I prepare a quarterly social media report for our team to reflect on what we've done and how we can iterate for the next quarter. Being on a small marketing team means I get to be involved in working on other aspects of our marketing channels such as aid in building email campaigns and drive conversations on inbound marketing strategies.
