Facilitate training programs for full-time, temporary, and seasonal employees and volunteers working in the Maryland Park Service as well as training for staff within the Department of Natural Resources. Develop lesson plans and manage logistics and scheduling for state-wide training courses. Train new instructors and supervise their development as instructors.

Serve as Acting Park Services Supervisor at North Point State Park; responsible for the operation of North Point State Park, North Point Battlefield, and Hart Miller Island. Supervise work of staff in all areas of park operations, including visitor services, facilities and resource management, revenue collection, and conservation planning.

Provide services to park patrons, maintain and protect natural and cultural resources, equipment, campground and day use areas, grounds and facilities. Perform front line work achieving operations, administration, information, education, interpretation, resource management, and visitor services in support of the management of natural, cultural, historical and recreational resources to provide for wise stewardship and enjoyment by people. Contribute to the quality of the park visitors’ experience including customer service, operating park facilities, ensuring public safety, responding to medical emergencies, administrative duties, park maintenance and cash handling.

Develop and implement educational and recreational based opportunities for the public including interpretive programs, children's activities, guided hikes, historic tours, static displays, and staffing nature centers. Maintain knowledge on local area including wildlife, history, environmental issues, park rules/regulations/attractions, recreational opportunities, and general information of the surrounding area. Provide customer service and information to visitors. Open and close park areas.

Facilitate and coordinate training events including the Science of Learning's 2014 Mindfulness Symposium with over 700 registrants. Design conference related materials and maintain conference participant databases. Negotiate and secure contracts for large scale events.Lead special projects for national dropout prevention initiatives for the Everyone Graduates Center and Diplomas Now, including the design for Civic Marshall Plan State Indices, a compilation of graduation rates and achievement indicators for each state in the nation. Provide project management for special projects, including the office relocation of over fifty employees for the Center for Social Organization of Schools. Serve as Executive Assistant to the Director of Talent Development Secondary.Establish culture committee to increase work morale and create relationships between departments through events and programs.
