The Service-Learning Supply Chain Experience (SCE) prepares students for employment in the life sciences industry by providing education and career counseling, job searching skills, laboratory technical skills training. Participaticipation in an hands-on lab activities where they work experience in the Miramar Biotech Lab by manufacturing products for customers

Provides administrative support to the Director of Nursing. This support includes maintaining files, maintaining patient calendar, and performing general clerical duties such as filing, copying, answering telephones, distributing email. Works closely with the director of Nursing and staff members in the performance of all duties required within assigned departments. Recommends, develops and executes short- and long-term strategic plans that drive best in class clinical, financial, and operational results · Partners with Lead and other leaders to design and implement various growth initiatives and operational effectiveness opportunities · Facility management, life safety codes and environment of care requirements and is proactive in managing the facility operations. · Maintains center operations in compliance with regulatory requirements and accrediting body standards at all times. · Ensures efficient business office operations.

· Cared for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, physical disability, those undergoing postoperative recovery and convalescents. · Took and recorded vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and blood sugar · Monitored patients' intake of oral medications as directed by physician or nurse, and made notation of time and amount given. Cleaned rooms, changed bed linens, and attended to patients' comfort and cleanliness · Turned bedfast patients to avoid bedsores.
