Diana Pop Email and Phone Number

Diana is an emerging landscape designer with a passion for landscapes that are inclusive, ecologically diverse, and have a strong focus on native plantings. She holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Toronto’s John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, where she was awarded the Daniels Academic Merit Award upon graduating. Diana is currently a landscape designer at SVN. Here, she contributes to projects that seek to create transit-oriented communities and improve urban ecology. Before joining SvN, she worked with North Design Office through the University of Toronto. Here, she contributed research for preservation of iconic works of landscape architecture in Toronto, and created designs aimed to reconcile fragmented landscapes through natural infrastructure.Diana’s thesis focused on the regeneration of post-industrial ruins through landscape architecture. After studying the Jiu Valley’s riparian situation in Southwestern Romania, her thesis incorporated ecological ruins to revitalize contaminated soil and water in former coal mining towns.
