She has been dancing salsa 12 years and has been dancing professionally for about 7 years. She is an experienced salsa dancer, instructor, performer and choreographer. Diana has trained and performed with some of the most talented dancers in the salsa scene such as former partner and current world champion Cristian Oviedo, Al Liquid Silver, Francisco Vasquez, Martin Avendano, and David Nieto among others. Her passion for dance has taken her to 13 countries and 20 states in the United States, sharing her love for dance and has also placed her on the top 3 in national and international salsa competitions. Diana Sanchez Dance Company directed by Diana consists of a couples dance troupe and an all ladies dance group. Diana has been the first salsa instructor in Colorado to take her amateur couples and ladies team to compete at the World Latin Dance Cup representing Denver and bringing home a third place in the amateurs couples division in 2012.
