As the Communications Coordinator, I am responsible for the creation, coordination, and implementation of digital content to support the online storytelling and branding initiatives of New West Family Place. This includes planning, creating, managing and analyzing New West Family Place’s social media channels, providing relevant content that reinforces Family Place’s brand and key messages, and managing the day-to-day online presence, including website content and blog posting.

With the Hyack Festival Association, I had the pleasure to lead planning for Hyack events including the Hyack Parade, Show & Shine, and the Canada Day Fireworks. For Hyack’s cultural events, I coordinated with sponsors, partners, vendors, and participants. As well, I created content for Hyack’s website and social media platforms, including radio and news paper ads, and an article for The Record.

As their summer intern, I assisted in PHT’s summer marketing campaigns in 2017 by researching and contacting sponsors, organizing Microsoft Word documents and Excel Workbooks, and mailing donation propositions. Along with this, I maintained the office by answering calls, organizing files and folders, and assisting customers.
