Failed by the American medical system with only eight months to live, I took my health into my own hands, spending my forecasted time in search of the cure for cancer.I attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, graduating with my BSN in 1981. In 1982, I passed the Louisiana State Board of Nursing, becoming a registered nurse. I graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, Louisiana in May 1991 with an MBA. In 2018, I obtained my Doctor of Naturopathy at Trinity School of Natural Health in Warsaw, Indiana.I worked as the charge registered nurse in the ICU, Supervisor, Assistant Director of Nurses (ADON), Director of Nurses (DON), the Quality Manager at the VA Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, and eventually founded The Right Solutions travel nursing agency in 1996. At The Right Solutions, I was Founder, Owner, and President/Chief Executive Officer of a privately owned Travel Nursing Agency in America. Currently, I am founder and a Doctor of Naturopathy at Divine Health in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. I am the Executive Producer of the internationally award-winning film The Unbelievable Plight of Mrs. Wright, filmed by Grow Vision Studios in 2019.In 2003, I won the National Leadership Award as Honorary Chairman on the National Republican Congressional Committee, named Arkansas Businessman of the Year in 2004, Arkansas Business Executive of the Year in 2008, recognized as Arkansas Best Nurse of the Year in 2015, named one of the Global Power 150 Women in Staffing by Staffing Industry Analysts in 2019, and won the 2021 Top 50 Healthcare Companies Award. The internationally acclaimed documentary based on my life, The Unbelievable Plight of Mrs. Wright, has won over 71 awards worldwide.In 2012, I was diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer and began my journey to wellness, leaving behind a career as a successful entrepreneur to become a naturopathic doctor. I opened my Holistic Spa, Divine Health in the middle of the pandemic and currently take new clients to help them with their advanced diseases.
