Since 1991,our firm has represented persons and families injured or killed as a result of negligence. Our firm has has 3 attorneys and a full staff of devoted professionals and paralegals, working towards the caring and quality representation of our clients. Over the years we have represented thousands of injured clients and their families, resulting from car accidents, boating and airline accidents, assaults in public places due to inadequate security, fall accidents, construction site accidents, bus, train, boating and airline accidents, drownings, injuries resulting from defective products and medical malpractice. Our mission is to obtain compensation for clients and call attention to unsafe conditions, premises, practices and products with the hopes of correction and improved safety measures preventing others from similar injury or harm in the future. Through our sister company, Bilingual Mediators we now offer mediation services given that Diana Santa Maria, the founding and managing partner, is also a Certified Supreme Court Mediator and thus able to help other lawyers and clients bring their cases to resolution through the Mediation process.

Managing the inner workings of the law practice.

Bilingual Mediators, Inc. ( BMI ) provides mediation services throughout the state as well as abroad to the multicultural community using mediators fluent in foreign languages suitable for the particular client's needs. They will also co-mediate and/or assist in mediations with other mediators, when needed, to bridge any cultural and language barriers. BMI has found that matching up mediators who understand the language and cultural make up of the parties to a mediation, enhances communications and trust in the process, which is key to any successful mediation.

Taught the Civil Pretrial Course to 2nd year law students using an actual case; emphasizing practical litigation skills including intensive focus on use of Rules of Civil Procedures; preparing retainer contracts; preparing pleadings, Complaint and Answer, Motions to Dismiss, the taking of depositions and handling Motion Practice from Dismissal to Summary Judgments as well as oral argument before the court with actual judges brought in so that the students could benefit from real life practice.
